Larry Roberts
Larry Roberts is a highly regarded international consultant, facilitator, and speaker specializing in helping organizations increase their sales, communications, productivity and customer loyalty.
Mr. Roberts earned a degree in Economics and Marketing from North Carolina State University in 1966 and was soon commissioned as an officer in the U. S. Navy. He earned his wings and served as a carrier-based pilot flying A-6 Intruders for six years. In 1970, he was awarded a Navy Commendation Medal for Heroic Achievement.
After a medical discharge from the Navy, Larry began a sixteen-year career with IBM, gaining extensive sales and management experience. He served as a manager at several levels within IBM and participated in the development of a very successful Executive Customer Training Program. In 1985 he moved to Melbourne, Australia and built and managed the Pacific Rim IBM Executive Education Program. Upon returning to the United States, he served as Vice President of Sales for two international training companies and has consulted with many Fortune 500 customers.
Currently, he is President of Roberts Business Group and consults with companies regarding organizational development, strategic planning, change management and sales training. He devotes much of his time to senior executive coaching and mentoring and is a frequent speaker at sales conventions and executive retreats.
Larry resides in Hillsborough, NC with his wife Judy. They have two adult sons and three grandchildren.
